Donald Trump tagged the wrong Ivanka on Twitter, gets lesson on climate change in return

It's not uncommon for Donald Trump to fire off a tweet without a second thought. On Monday night, The president-elect whose inauguration is Friday, tweeted that CNN were "doing a Special Report on my daughter, Ivanka. Considering it is CNN, can't imagine it will be great!".

President-elect Trump then followed this up with a modified retweet from another Twitter user that said his daughter " is great, a woman with real character and class."

However, there was one small issue with the post, and by small issue we actually mean big issue... the original tweet had tagged the wrong Ivanka and President-elect Trump repeated the error. One small space in the name was the difference between tagging his daughter Ivanka Trump and the twitter user Ivanka Majic a Digital consultant from Brighton in the UK.

Ivanka Majic awoke to find that she had been praised by the next President of the United States. The tweet quickly gained thousands of retweets and favorites and in a few hours Majic's followers had doubled.

Using her new found fame, Ivanka Majic responded to the mistaken tweet. She tweeted " And you're a man with great responsibilities. May I suggest more care on Twitter and more time learning about #climatechange. "

She included an infographic outlining the Scientific consensus on climate change.

Her response was received with even more praise and congratulations for her well-informed tweet.

It's not the first time she has been mistaken for Ivanka Trump on social media. During the US Election campaign she tried to encourage those who mistakenly tweeted her to vote for Hillary Clinton.

However this time she appears to have hit a nerve, with the users of twitter fully supporting her.
