Ellen DeGeneres gives emotional farewell tribute to Obama

On Barrack Obama's last day of presidency, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres dedicated her show to America's first Black President.

To commemorate the Presidents last day in office, Ellen took a look back over the last eight years with a compilation video of her favourite moments of all the things Ellen, Barack and Michelle have done together.

In a speech before the compilation video was shown Ellen said "I want to personally thank him for changing my life. I am a legally married woman because of him and so is my wife. His courage and compassion created equality for everyone. He moved us forward and made more happen in the past eight years than I ever dreamed possible. I love him. I love Michelle."

Ellen then showed a five and a half minute tribute of video clips with her and the Obama's including the first time Barack appeared on her show and Michelle and Ellen dancing together.
